AR Workshop Coronado is hosting TWO workshops for moms. Candles and Cookies from 12-2:30PM and Chunky Knit Blankets from 4:00PM – 7:00PM.
At Candles and Cookies, you and mom will create one-of-a-kind candle scents for your home or as the perfect hand-crafted gift. Then, you will have a cookie decorating lesson from Jennifer of Pacific Batch Cookies Co. Learn techniques, tips, and tricks from a local cookie artist. Take home your 4 decorated cookies, some sweet knowledge on this tasty new skill and a custom-made candle! What a perfect way to celebrate Mom!
ORRRR, keep mom cozy during the May gray by creating a Chunky Knit Blanket with step-by-step instruction. No knitting experience or tools needed! You will choose your yarn colors upon your arrival for this workshop. They offer an exclusive selection of yarn from our private label with Lion Brand Yarn. If your mom is a knitting connoisseur she will LOVE this!

Hit the Beach – any day, any time.
San Diego has the greatest beaches along the coast. Check out our guide to the best beaches and choose one for you and mom. It’ll remind her of those days she would spend packing your lunches, loading up your favorite sand toys, and still needing to fight to put sunscreen on you. This time, you pack HER lunch and carry her chair down. It’s mom’s turn to be taken care of.

Does your mom like flowers? Overdo it. Bring her to The Flower Fields in Carlsbad on Mother’s Day 2024. The 55-acres of Giant Tecolote Ranunculus flowers that make up The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch® in Carlsbad, California, are in bloom for approximately six to eight weeks each year. May 12th is the last day of the season so if you haven’t been there yet, don’t miss your last chance. They’ll have performances throughout the day with the colorful dancing of the Rancho Buena Vista High School’s Ballet Folklorico.
